Elder M. Russell Ballard's talk from General Conference April 2012 inspired me. Here are several of the thoughts I had after listening to his talk:
Have your heart turned to the Lord. Remove any of your fear with faith.
No career can bring you as much fulfillment as rearing a family. Read often The Proclamation on the Family and follow it.
Self sustaining vs self reliant. Draw upon the help of the Lord. It is good to work towards being self-sustaining in the things we are capable of doing, but if we begin to believe we should not need the help of others, we are in great danger of being deceived.
The church is the scaffolding from which we build eternal families.
Most importantly,Reach for the Atonement of Jesus Christ and you will always have a spiritual GPS to tell you where you are and where you are going.
